I am from south-east Louisiana and my adventure starts with dropping out of nursing school! Classic. It wasn't my dream. Choosing art has lead me to so many adventures and I wouldn't trade that for the world. I began art before grade school and struggled to acknowledge that I could ever really make something of it. Until I realized that I not only could, but it's not even about that. It's about where the art takes you and what you learn from it, and who you meet, and how it makes you feel. So it took me to college. I got the degree and actually managed to travel a lot in college. At one point, college took me to Europe (much love @ Jean Donegan) and suddenly the connections are across oceans! I've found that traveling and art have come to be hand in hand, and my inspiration comes from the experiences I gather from these places. Painting live in nature have come to be one of my favorite forms of art. However, I spend most days in New Orleans now working a day job while managing **all of this** on the side. I feel extremely lucky to have had the last 5 years and am truly excited for what's to come.
